Homeaccommodative technologyAn Example of Android Speech to Text

The first part of this entry has gone through my usual writing process of edits and proof reading. The second part is what I had before I made changes.

“I was inspired by this entry to try writing a post for my blog using the speech to text option on my tablet.

I do have some experience in using this type of technology beyond my cell phone, but that’s mostly from the Dragon software. Since my word recall isn’t all that great, I always edit my writing after I’m finished with the first try.

This time, I’ll post both the raw result as well as the edited result, so you can have an idea of the difference edits make.

This is the first time I’ve used this particular software on my tablet, so I don’t know if it will eventually learn how to recognize my pronunciations are with time. When working with speech to text technology, there are quite a few programs that are “smart” enough to do that.

For a first time though, this tech isn’t quite as bad as it could be. Still, once I get my new microphone, I think I’ll just return to using dragon.”

And now, the raw version:

“I was inspired by this century to tre writing a post for my blog using the speech to text option on my tablet.

I do have some experience in using this type of technology, beyond that of usability on my cell phone, but that’s mostly from the dragon software.since my word recall isn’t all that great, when I do use speech to text I always edit afterwards.

I think for the century though, I will post both the raw result as well as the edited result, so you can have an idea of the difference it its make.

This is the first time I’ve used this particular software on my tablet, so I don’t know if it will eventually learn how to recognize my pronunciations are not with time. When working with speech to text technology, there are quite a few programs that are open quote smart clothes quote.

And apparently this program doesn’t have the same verbal clues programmed in as Dragon does.

For a first time so, it’s not quite as bad as it could have been. Still, once I get my new microphone, I think I’ll just return to using dragon.”
