I can usually handle change pretty well. Sure, there will be some fumbling around and forgetting things at first, but I do eventually get it.
For some reason, though, returning from trips always fouls me up. Even though I’m always the one to do the packing and unpacking, I constantly forget where I put something.
At the beginning of the month, hubby and I attended a lovely out of state wedding. Being home was a relief, but I was so exhausted that I just unpacked, started the laundry and fell asleep for something like 10 hours. Despite my fatigue, I thought I did a pretty good job of putting things where they belonged.
At least, that’s what I thought until I needed my sunglasses.
Naturally, this isn’t the first time I’ve done that, so I already have a back up pair. Of course, my back up used to be my primary pair. Then, I lost them for a month and found them after I bought the pair I was searching for earlier this month.
It’s a vicious cycle.
Anyway, I got fed up with looking and just wore the back up pair on my outing.
A week later, I happened to look at my desk and saw this:
THERE they are! Right next to where I spend the majority of my time. I must have glanced at them at least once every day, but somehow, I still couldn’t find them.
Yes, they’re staying in my purse when I’m not using them.
