Happy New Year, all!
|It’s a cold, frozen January. At least the first day of
the year was relatively pretty.
2014 has ended with a bit of a fizzle for me. My focus seems to have gone right out the window, and I feel a bit burned out, so keeping this blog active has been a bit of a challenge.
Part of that has to do with stress, general frustration and the holidays. A bigger part has to do with the trouble I’ve been having with adding a little more structure to my days. It’s an ongoing struggle, especially when so much of my organizational issues are directly linked to my dyslexic wiring.
I’m finding ways to clear my mind again, though. Every day yoga, followed with a bit of meditation, will hopefully help with some of the biological aspects. Experimenting with accommodative technology, like the apps for scheduling and to-do lists, will hopefully help me with my organizational challenges.
I’m still trying to figure out how to effectively keep track of my goals, associated tasks and how to set rewards for myself when I actually manage to accomplish something.
Here’s hoping I accomplish more in 2015 than I did in 2014.
