HomecreativityMarinating Ideas

  • At least one brain (preferably incorporated into your body, though backups can be useful)
  • Time
  • Outlet of choice
  • Inspiration

Step One: Mix inspiration with brain
Step Two: Let sit until the flavor is fully developed
Step Three: Pour into outlet of choice
Step Four: Refine rough product
Step Five: Profit!

I guess that’s my way of saying that I have a number of ideas that aren’t quite ready to be shared with the world, yet.

The fact I’m rather hungry at the moment may or may not have something to do with the chosen format.

I think it’s important for us all to remember that whether it’s a story, piece of artwork, essay, lesson plan or anything else involving a process, it starts with a humble idea which must be developed over time.

Discouragement is natural, especially early on and towards the middle of the project, but pushing through that block will increase your chances of successfully completing whatever it is you’re trying to do.

This bit of inspiration was brought to you by the letter Z for Zucchini.

Upon which I am snacking.
